Duties Not Rights for Growth

 We all want to grow. We want our families to grow, our community to grow and most of all our Nation, National growth ensures the availability of resources to all sections of our society and stability in governance. Growth will ensure a better quality of Healthcare, Education, and Economic well-being for all of us. Our aim should be to ensure a better life for ourselves and future generations. 

While we dream about the future, we let our rights overshadow our duties and responsibilities. We look to enforce our rights and do not care about the larger impact on society, whose well-being is essential for overall growth.

The social influencers including media and politicians have their own axe to grind. The first aim of social influencers is to discredit governance. This could be any party in power. My humble take is that any ruling party will work for the betterment of all of us. We should expect a satisfaction level between 75 to 80% from governance. To my mind, we are part of organizations where the satisfaction level is not more than this level. We can investigate our households, the organization where we spend a considerable of  time in life, our own career attainments, society  

We must respect and believe that the government in power is working for us. Since independence, the policies of governance have been pro-people. Yes, there are aberrations. The aberrations have been because of assorted reasons. Most important are the growth pangs of the evolution of the growing nation. with inexperienced governance machinery. Thus, neglecting the long-term interest of the nation and pandering to the whims and fancies of pressure groups. Since independence, the vote bank politics has affected the governance and growth of a nation. All pressure groups were interested in rights, not duties towards the country. Thus, the governance model had to be modified to deny electoral advantage. The present situation in the country is due to neglect of duties, for short-term gains. 

To my mind, the solution lies in creating trust towards the party in power. There should be a resolve among social influencers, not to mislead our people and let governance be unhindered.  The social influencer should stop misleading the average Indian. The nation must think of the future. We should think of our duties. Attempt to create disinformation and lack of faith in government should not be encouraged. I can hear the propagators of democracy squirming. To my mind if the nation progresses democracy will grow. A lot of social influencers will lose their power. At least they will not be harming an average Indian. My suggestion may be utopian, and if implemented will reduce the suffering of Indians. I am a firm believer that social influencers encourage responsibilities to emanate out of our duties. I wish instead of welfare; productivity was the norm in the country. Only the right attitude and resolve of social influencers can help governance and aid growth.
